Purposes and legal basis for data processing

To advise and support our clients, and to broker insurance contracts, we need the information you are providing here to enter into insurance contracts and cover your risk. Your personal data will be processed so that, in the event of a claim, we can report and enforce the claims to the insurer.Unless your personal data are processed, we cannot broker insurance contracts, cover your risk, or handle claims. The processing of personal data for contract and precontract purposes is legally based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Experts: If a risk assessment is needed or an expert opinion must be made for a claim, personal data will be provided to an expert.

Banks and leasing companies: If a client’s insurance contract benefiting third parties is restricted as to transferability, pledged, or the like, that client’s data will be forwarded to the relevant bank or leasing company.

Attorneys and notaries: If a client is represented by lawyers or notaries, that client’s personal data will be forwarded to the relevant legal representative or notary if this is necessary to process the insurance relationship.
